CONNECTING DEVICES TO RS232 AND RS232/485 PORTS

Devices that transfer data, such as computers, VMS boards, camera control and other

industrial control systems can be connected to the COM ports.

1. Connect the data device to the MediaRacer® 100 unit via

the COM ports, according to the connectors mapping table.

CONNECTING DISCRETE INPUT/OUTPUT (DIO) DEVICES

DIO devices, such as sensors (temperature, light etc.), automatic gate opening controls and

alarms can be connected to a Discrete Input/Output (DIO) connector. The DIO connector

has four opto-isolated input and four opto-isolated output ports.

1. Connect the DIO device to the MediaRacer® 100 unit via

the DIO connector, as specified in the Specification section

and according to the connector mapping table.
